English IV
 

This course will incorporate all of the knowledge the student has obtained in previous years of English and expand upon it by reading, critically engaging, and responding to various works of British literature. A special emphasis will be placed on the writing of essays, e.g., various types of research papers, admission essays, and college essays. Throughout this course, students will cultivate and sharpen the various skills that are necessary to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
